Linda Maloof Byerly
Linda Maloof Byerly, age 57, of North East, died on
Thursday, December 13, 2018, at UPMC Hamot. She
was born on October 30, 1961, in North East, Pennsylvania,
the daughter of the late Samuel and Lucille
(Triana) Maloof.
Linda graduated North East High
School in 1979 and was employed as
a store manager by Dollar General
in North East for over ten years. She
was a member of the North East
Moose Lodge. Linda enjoyed spending
time with her family, especially
her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband, Victor M. Byerly,
Sr.; brother, Charles Maloof; and grandson, Noah
Linda is survived by her children, Victor Byerly, Jr.
(Clara) of North East, Anthony Byerly “Tank” (Rhonda
Rihel) of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., Nicole Ortiz (Joel)
of North East, and Joseph Byerly of North East; a
brother, Frank Maloof (Vallrie) of North East; sisters,
Mary Lopez of North East, Diane Appleton (Mark)
of Appleton, Wis., and Debbie Quandt of North East;
grandchildren, Jameson, Joel, and Yeidi; and also
several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral
Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Monday
from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and are invited to attend
a funeral service today, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the
funeral home. Officiating the service is Fr. Thomas
Brooks. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer
Society, 2115 West 38th Street, Erie, PA 16508.

Linda was a very kind hearted, and compassionate person for the short period of time I knew her. She is going to be very missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
