Donald E. Lonyo, age 50, of Harborcreek, died on Friday, March 1, 2019. He was born on June 20, 1968 in Erie, P.A., the son of Patricia (Flynn) Lonyo of Harborcreek and the late Donald Edward Lonyo Sr. Donald graduated Harborcreek High School in 1987 and was formerly employed by Lonyo Brothers and several other companies as a concrete finisher. He loved spending time with his friends shooting pool, attending Erie Otters games, and going to Lake Erie Speedway. Donald is survived by his mother, Patricia Lonyo; son, Zack Snyder of Harborcreek; brothers, Daniel Lonyo (Christina) of Charleston, South Carolina, Brian Lonyo of Harborcreek, and Christopher Lonyo of Harborcreek; best friends, James Brantner of Habrorcreek, Sonny Paris of Cleveland, and Patrick Williams of Harborcreek; and also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Friday from 2-4PM & 6-8PM. Private interment will be held at the East Troy Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

I am sorry for the loss of this amazing outgoing man. I have known him for more than half my life. We kept in touch throughout our lives. He will be missed by so many. He was very a funny, outgoing, loving man. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts are with the family. Please keep the memories of him in your thoughts to help you through these times of grief.
