Buelah Jane Stetson Wilcox, age 89, of North East died on June 15, 2017 at her residence.  

She was born on November 30, 1927 in North East, Pa to the late Harold L. amd Leona G. Munger Stetson.

Buelah retired from North East Welch's Food Company.

She was born and raised on a dairy farm, enjoyed travelling to different casinos around the United States with her husband Steward and in her later years enjoyed the casinos with her son Gary and Aunt Mary.  Buelah was a country girl and loved living the country life on her North East farm for 68 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Steward Wilcox; infant daughter who died at birth, brothers,Eugene T. Stetson and Eldred H. Stetson.

Buelah is survived by her sons, John S. Wilcox IV (Patricia) of North East, Gerald R. Wilcox (Bonnie) of Romney WV, Gary L. Wilcox (Holly) of Mt. Juliet, TN; sister, Betty Jo Skellie of Findley Lake;  grandchildren, Justin Wilcox, Andrew Wilcox, Ali Wilcox, Nicklos Wilcox, Nicole Wilcox, Heather Spaeder, Amanda Reich, John Wilcox; great-grandchildren, Alauria Wilcox, Domenic, Samantha Wilcox, Nathan Wilcox, Ty Spaeder, Jarod Parsons, Angelinia Wilcox; several nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Officiating Rev. David Cooke.  Interment North East Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Community Nursing Services of North East, 7 Park St., North East, Pa 16428. Please send condolences to www.elkinfh.com.
