Brenda Ann Winkelman, age 50, of Ripley died on Thursday March 30, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on December 21, 1966 in Westfield, New York to Richard and Shirley Bray Winkelman of Ripley. She graduated Ripley Central High School and was employed as a nurses aide at the Lutheran Home in Jamestown. Brenda was a member of the C3 Church in Harborcreek and the AMVETS of Michigan. She enjoyed animals and was a motorcycle enthusiast. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Winkelman; maternal grandparents, Lester and Elizabeth Bray; and a brother, Bryan "Rick" Winkelman. She is survived by her parents; a nephew, Ian Winkelman of Westfield; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; good friend, Amy Sanchez; longtime friend, Blu; and her dog, Remy. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday at 2:00 pm until time of a funeral service at 6:00 pm. Private interment Quincy Cemetery.
