Ronald A. Walker, age 45, of North East, died on Thursday July 17, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on August 31,1968 in Erie, PA to Rita Enz Otto of North East and the late William C. Walker.

Ron graduated from North East High School Class of 1987 and Edinboro University earning a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Furniture Design.  He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha.

He was currently employed at Bay Valley as a maintenance engineer.

Ron enjoyed skydiving, motorcycling, woodworking, swimming, and diving.

He is survived by his mother; step-father, Joseph Otto of North East; brothers, Charles F. Walker of Buffalo, NY and Steven A. Walker (Janet) of North East; sister, Laurie J. Enz (David) of Grasslake, Michigan; maternal grandmother, Orpha Enz of Ionia, Michigan; step-sisters, Ellen Otto of North East and Lori Otto-Smith (Mark) of North East; step-brother, Steven Otto (Jill) of Ripley; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake Street, North East on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  Officiating Rev. Brian Switala.

I just wanted to say I'm very sorry for your loss. I graduated with Ron, he always made me laugh. He was very good with cheering me up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for he was a good person and had a good soul. Charlotte Fuller.
