Wilson Wayne Luke, 83, of North East passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at St. Mary’s East. He was born on October 6, 1937 in Erie, Pa., the son of the late Wilson and Marion (Phanco) Luke. Wilson graduated from North East High School in 1956 and later served in the United States Army National Guard in the artillery unit. He was a self-employed truck driver and enjoyed antique tractors and antique tractor shows. Wilson was preceded in death by his brother, Lewis Luke; sister-in-law, Pat Clute; and mother-in-law, Wilma Clute. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Gerry (Clute) Luke; daughters, Mary Wilson, Sally Garske (Mike); sons, Roy Luke (Sue), Paul Luke; brother, Gordon Luke (Joyce); sister-in-laws, Cindy Luke, Jan Lake (Mayford), Marilyn Clute, Carolyn Gay (Barry); brother-in-laws, Bill Clute (Linda), Bob Clute (Donna), Pete Clute (Joann), Jack Clute (Yoka); father-in-law, Ernest Clute (Ruth); grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley, Alyssa, Brandon, Tyler, and Dylan; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 5th at 2:00 p.m. at 10726 Sidehill Road, North East, followed by a time of fellowship. Memorials may be made to Park United Methodist Church, 30 N.
