William E Leroux

William E. Leroux, age 88, of Niagara Falls, NY and North East, PA passed away on Monday November 21, 2022 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on April 23, 1934 in Tupper Lake, New York the son of the late William J. and Edna (Allard) Leroux. William served in the United States Army and graduated from St. Bonaventure University earning a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. He was formerly employed as a chemist by Hooker Chemical in Niagara Falls and Occidental Chemical on Grand Island for several years until retirement at the age of 57. He was a very handy person, had a strong love for his family, and enjoyed going to Casinos and traveling. 

William was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Wilma Lanthier and Denise Benware.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Leda (Lorenzoni) Leroux whom he married May 19,1962; sons, Paul E. Leroux, Sr. (Melissa) of North East and William E. Leroux, Jr. of Rochester, NY; sisters, Ann Cheney and Eileen House; and Pepere to 4 grandchildren, Kathryn, Mara, Paul, Jr., and Rose Leroux; and many loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at St. Joseph Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY on Saturday, November 26 at 10 AM
