Wesley C Bannister

Wesley C. Bannister, age 91, of North East, passed away at Corry Hospital on Saturday July 1, 2023 where he went to a better place and is at peace. He served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954 and was formerly employed as a truck driver for several years. Wesley loved to travel across the United States and enjoyed playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda; brothers, Forrest and Wilton Bannister; sister, Roberta Louge; and grandson, Leejay. Wesley is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marlene (Carris) Bannister; daughter, Allyson Sterling (Brian); grandchildren, Kayla, Nicole, Dylan, and Kyle; and a niece, Sandra Bannister.
