Wayne Cochran

Wayne Cochran, age 72, of North East passed away on Sunday February 20, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family. Born on June 1, 1949 in Ripley, New York, he was the son of the late Chuck and Sally (Bel- son) Cochran. Wayne graduated from Ripley Central High School in 1967. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He had a long rewarding career at General Electric from 1968 until his retirement in 2005. Wayne was a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed golfing, and was an avid and talented woodworker. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dian Bash. Wayne will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Priscilla (Marzka) Cochran, whom he married on May 13, 1988. Also he leaves behind a son, Jeff Marzka (Dawn) of Park City, Utah; two grandsons Bodi and Stryder Marzka; brothers-in-law Dennis Marzka (Roxanne) of Simpsonville, SC, and Bruce Marzka (Vicki) of North East, along with several nieces and nephews. Special friends who will also miss him dearly are Bruce Hawkins, Kristen Power, the Meeder’s Morning Coffee Crew, and his be- loved fur-babies Shasta and Tinkerbell. A special thank you to his nurses Ashlee and Dawn, and his home health aides Joanne and Tammy. Friends may call at the William D.
