Teddy Raymus Palmerlee, 80, of Westfield New York, formerly of North East PA, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 21st.
Born December 12th, 1944 in Provo Utah, Teddy lived a diverse and full life. He had a kind spirit, was generous with his time and talents, had a keen sense of justice and was guided by his unwavering faith.
Surviving are fiancée Diane Strain of Westfield, NY,: two sons, Eric (Hilary Clark) Palmerlee of West Hartford, CT and Matthew (Amy) Palmerlee of Savannah, GA; half brothers, Thomas Shopper of Reno, NV, and Jerry (Mary) Shopper of Idaho; stepsisters JoAnn Desin and Nancy (Bill) Lewis; grandchild Iona Palmerlee of West Hartford, CT; loving sisters-in-law Lynn (Gary) Foster of North East, PA, and Mary Sekercioglu of Muskegon, MI.; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Carol Palmerlee; brother Donald Palmerlee; sisters Ida Pezon and Ann Hughes; stepmother Marilyn “June” Babcock; and parents Herman and Ruth Boylan Palmerlee.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
