Shirley J (Phillips) White

Shirley J. White (Phillips), age 82, passed away on Tuesday, December 31st, 2024, at Hamot Medical Center. Born in Erie, PA on June 18th, 1942, a daughter to the late Dale and Pauline Phillips (Knittel).

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, traveling with her Colorado family, going to the casino, playing Yahtzee, and snuggling her cats. She will be fondly remembered, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Kenneth Nesslage.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Michele Stanopiewicz (Paul), Leslie Brink (Jeff), and Tracy Phillips (Eric); grandchildren Brandon Stanopiewicz (Rebecca), Kristen Strong (Chris), Daryl Brink, Jenna Pytlarz (Brian), Makenna Phillips, and Jovie Phillips; great-grandchildren Olivia & Nora Stanopiewicz, Cambria & Keagan Strong, and Haley, Morgan, & Carson Pytlarz; a sister, Judith Nesslage (Ken); niece, Lisa Hammond (Bob).

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
