Shawn J Rizzo

Shawn J. Rizzo, age 60, of North East, passed away on Thursday October 24, 2024 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on June 29, 1964 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas John and Joan M. (Edmunds) Rizzo.

Shawn was formerly employed by GAF and was a member of the Brotherhood of St. Joseph Club in North East.

He enjoyed gaming, music, nature, and his cat, Barbara Ann.

"Might not have been a nice man...but he was a GOOD man".

Shawn was preceded in death by his parents; son, Devlin Craig Rizzo; and sister, Sheila Rizzo.

He is survived by his best friend, Tammy Craig Lynch; brothers, Steven Rizzo (Marilyn) and Scott Rizzo (Erin); niece, Melissa Reese Miller; nephews, Timothy Reese, Paul Rizzo and Sam Rizzo.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Tuesday October 29th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church.
