Scott Thomas Rizzo, age 71, passed away on April 18, 2025 besides his loved ones. He was born on June 27, 1953 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Thomas J. Rizzo and Joan M. (Edmunds) Rizzo. Scott graduated from North East High School and received his Bachelor's in Chemistry, teaching certification in Chemistry and Physics, and MBA from Penn State Behrend College. In Pennsylvania, he worked as a substitute teacher and professor and at Post Apple Scientific. In New Jersey, he worked in Spectrum Chemicals as a purchasing manager and a solutions director. Throughout his life, he enjoyed bicycling, playing basketball, watching baseball, sumo, and Jeopardy!, and helping others when they need him most. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Sheila K. Rizzo, his brother, Shawn J. Rizzo, and his nephew, Devlin C. Rizzo. He is survived by his wife, Sulistyarini (Widjaja) Rizzo, his son, Samuel T. Rizzo, his brother, Stephen J. Rizzo (Marilyn), his godmother, Mary Triana, and several nieces and nephews, and their families. Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Church.
