Roy G. Ricker, Sr., 86, of Wattsburg passed away on Saturday November 1, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on January 17, 1939 in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania to the late Roy and Clara Fleming Ricker.
Roy graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1956 and was a veteran serving in the United State Army.
He was employed at General Electric in the maintenance department for over 30 years.
Roy loved spending time with his family and enjoyed trains, camping, crossword puzzles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sarah Ann Ricker; sisters, Mae Joy Buranich, Penny Becker, Irene Sanfillipo, and Carmen Bell; and brother, Richard Ricker.
Roy is survived by his wife Marilyn (Brown) Ricker whom he married on October 26, 1986; sons, Roy Ricker (Stephanie), Brian Ricker, Bob Ricker (Marion), and Adam Ricker (Shanann); daughter, Julie McGaughey (Brian) and step-daughter, Lorie Daugherty (Carl); sister, LaWanda Dominick; sister-in-law, Kathy Ricker; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday, November 6 from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Rev. Dan Cass. Private interment will be held at Lakeside Cemetery.
