Rosaleen Spacht Obituary

Rosaleen Kelly Spacht, 79, of North East passed away on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on March 16, 1946 in London, England to the late Patrick (Joe) and Kathleen (Hayden) Kelly. 

Kelly to the pride of her hard working Irish parents, was the proud recipient of 16 years of Catholic Education, culminating in a BSN from Loyola University of Chicago. She went on to earn a MSN from Governors State University.

Kelly spent her entire career working for Behavioral Health Agencies in Illinois and Pennsylvania. She finished her professional years as Co-Manager of Behavioral Health Services at DuBois Regional Medical Center, now Penn Highlands DuBois.

Kelly was a member of St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church in North East.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years David Spacht whom she married May 27, 1995; children, Kimberly Blenk and Kirk Goldsberry; grandchildren, Emily, Robert, Rosalie, and Daisy; and former husband, Lee Goldsberry.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Sunday July 6th from 3:00 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. concluding with the Rosary prayed by the Knights of Columbus. A prayer service will be held on Monday July 7th at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. at St. Gregory Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East, PA 16428. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Gregory School Perpetual Endowment Fund or to Blessed Father McGivney Catholic High School, 7190 Bouse Road, Glen Carbon, Illinois, 62034.
