Ronald L. Lane

Ronald L. Lane, Sr., age 72, of North East, passed away on Sunday July 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1950 the son of the late Willard and Ruby (Byers) Lane. Ron was formerly employed by Electric Materials and owned and operated a grape farm in North East for several years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Lisa Pettinato; and brothers Jack and Terry. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda (Barton) Lane whom he married on February 9, 1968; sons, Ronald Lane, Jr. (Heather) and Michael Lane; sisters; grandchildren, Joshua (Miranda), Jacob, Katie (Tyler), Megan, and Mark (Stephanie); and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Ben, Brock, Landon, Kailyn, Jaeda, Tyler, Jaxson, Kamden, and Luca. Private funeral arrangements are being entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at North East Cemetery.
