Robert "Bob" M Schroat

Robert "Bob" M. Schroat, age 70, of North East, passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on January 30, 1953 in Erie, PA to the late Salvatore L. and Stella V. (Hibbler) Fedele. Bob was formerly employed by Welch Foods for several years and was a self-employed auto mechanic. He enjoyed roller skating, video games, CB Radio, and dogs. Bob had a contagious smile, kind and gentle spirit, and warm heart. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Joe McIntyre. Bob is survived by his siblings; Mary Belle McIntyre of British Columbia, Canada, David L. Fedele (Sandie) of North East, Joseph Fedele (Erica) of North East, Sal Fedele, Jr. (Barbara) of North East; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Officiating the service is Rev. Mike Bartlett. Private interment will take place at Erie County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
