Robert E Russell, Sr

Robert E. Russell, Sr., 93, of North East passed away on Friday April 18, 2025 at Corry Manor.

He was born on June 11, 1931 in Indian, Pennsylvania to the late Clyde and Olive (North) Russell.

Bob was formerly employed as a foreman at Electric Material for several years until retirement.

He was a member of the North East Alliance Church.

Bob enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Ellen (Croasmun) Russell; siblings, Liz Yale, June Keith, Jean Bush, Emma Fender, Beatrice Small, John E. Russell, and James L. Russell; son, Bob Russell, Jr.; and son-in-law, Eugene Groves.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Carol Stanford (Pete) of Florida, Patty Groves of North East, Cindi Combs (Darrell) of Union City, and Mary Davis (Randy) of Indiana; and several grandchildren, great-grandchilden, and great-great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday April 24th from 3:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Pastor Dan Cass. Private interment will be held at Grahamville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North East Alliance Church, 81 East Main Street, North East, PA 16428.
