Robert Charles Bahm Jr., age 79, of North East, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Ball Pavilion at Brevillier. He was born on February 17, 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania the son of the late Robert Bahm Sr. and Wilma Batten Bahm. Robert graduated from Fairview High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force. He spent most of his career providing home improvements, specifically painting services, throughout the community. Robert was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served several roles over the years. He was a member of the North East American Legion Post 105, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and meeting with his friends for morning coffee. Robert was preceded in death by his dear wife of 55 years, Gloria Jean (Kraut) Bahm, infant brother, David E. and brother, Daniel A. Bahm. He is survived by his children, Debbie Karsh (Jeffery) of Pittsburgh, Robert Bahm III of North East, Steve Bahm (Gretchen) of North East, and Robin Luke (Michael) of Kansas; brothers, James Earl Bahm (Rita) of North East, Carl Bahm of North East, and Tim Bahm of South Carolina; sisters, Catherine Boland (James) of North East, Carol Cashmere of Brook Park, Ohio, and Jenny Harkins (James) of Neville, Pa.; grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Ryan, Alison, Brendan, Mackenzie, Rhiannon, and Jocelyn; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh, Laurel, and Owen; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at North East Cemetery on Sunday, June 6th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Gregg Townsend officiating, followed by a Celebration of Life at the North East American Legion Post 105, 17 South Mill Street, North East.
