Richard G. Zameroski

Richard "Ricky" G. Zameroski, age 67, of Erie, formerly of North East, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Barber National Institute. He was born on September 30, 1954 in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania the son of Catherine (Scarfo) Zameroski and the late Henry "Hank" Zameroski.

Ricky was employed by the Barber National Institute in the woodworking shop for several years. He had a passion for comic books and was a collector of Star Trek memorabilia. Ricky was known for his infectious sense of humor, sharp wit, bellowing laugh and loving tender spirit. He had a deep love for his family and church.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Nancy (Zameroski) Root.

He is survived by his mother; a brother, Robert D. Zameroski (Kathy); brother-in-law, Clifford Root; nephew, Adam Root; nieces, Chrissy Hutchinson (Hal), Danielle Root, and Kelly Root; great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Private arrangements are being entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Barber National Institute, 100 Barber Pl., Erie, PA 16507.
