Phyllis (Smith) Korn

Phyllis Smith Korn, 85, of Wattsburg, passed away on August 12, 2025 at Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born on November 27, 1939 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Walter and Frances (Boinski) Smith.

Phyllis graduated Wattsburg High School and was employed in the Wattsburg School Cafeteria and Cleaning Department. She also worked the family dairy farm for all of her life.

She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Korn; sister; Glady Bishop; and brothers, Jerry Smith, Ray Smith, and William Smith.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Korn (Roxanne) of Sherman; daughters, Audrey Coburn (John) of Wattsburg and Brenda Campagna of French Creek; brother, Richard Smith (Violet); grandchildren, Melissa Coburn (Dave), Ashley Williams (Craig), Christopher Campagna (Elizabeth), David Campagna (Sara), Heidi Korn, and Brandon Korn; great-grandchildren, Mason, Melonie, Chase, Paityn, Noah, Charlee, Flynn, Ava, Kylie, Gracie, Taylor, Patrick, and Michael; several nieces and nephews; close sister-in-law, Irene Smith and special friend Cindy Proctor.
