Peggy Rose (Sharp) Blair, age 67, of North East passed away on Wednesday June 17, 2026 at UPMC Hamot.
She was born on November 15, 1958 in Liverpool, New York to the late Floyd and Rose (Betts) Sharp.
Peggy graduated Bryant & Stratton College earning a degree in medical transcription.
She was a wonderfully talented seamstress and creative person. Peggy had a passion for crafts, crocheting and creating beautiful traditional attire for Erie's lively Oktoberfest celebrations. Her love for others will never be forgotten.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Gary W. Blair and great-grandson, Eliott Blair.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Stritzinger; son, Joshua Blair (Kimberly); step-children, Rebecca Stritzinger (Joe) and Benjamin Stritzinger (Carly); grandchildren, Ariel Parsell (Mike), Joseph Blair (Alicia), Jacob Blair (Brandi), and Alex Blair (Kiersten); 13 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to A Celebration of Peggy's Life on Saturday July 11th at 2:00 p.m. at Fishermans Beach, Route 5 and Riverside Drive, North East. Please bring a dish to pass. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East.
