Obituary
Patrick Brian Matuszewski, age 40, of North East, passed away on Friday September 8, 2023 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on March 17, 1983 in Humble, Texas the son of Franc T. and Dena A. (Vahl) Matuszewski of North East.
Patrick graduated High School and obtained an Associates Degree in Electronics from the Erie Technical Institute. He was formerly employed by Presque Isle Downs & Casino as a machine technician. Patrick was fond of the outdoors, hiking in the woods, working in the yard, and enjoyed electronic projects. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Patrick was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fritz and Arlene Vahl; paternal grandparents, Aloyius and Minnie Matuszewski; brother, Geoffry Matuszewski; and uncle, Kevin Vahl.
He is survived by his loving parents; brothers, Trevor, Chris, and Taylor Matuszewski; sister, Ashley Hammond (Matt); and nieces and nephews.
Private funeral arrangements are being entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. Private interment will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
