Patricia A (Piazza) Raven

NORTH EAST - Patricia A. (Piazza) Raven, age 77, of North East, passed away on November 13, 2022 at her sisters home surrounded by her children and siblings. She was born on November 28, 1944 in Erie, PA the daughter of the late Cosimo “Shadow” and Margaret K. (Chriest) Piazza. Patricia graduated from St. Gregory High School and was a self-employed seamstress in North East for several decades. She was a member of St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church, St. Gregory Wonder Workers, and the Jaycettes. Patricia enjoyed antiques and crafting. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Jerry Janes. Patricia is survived by her children, Shelly Raven-Miller (Mark Bliley) of Harborcreek, Tammy Lee (Chuck) of Erie, Dean Raven of Harborcreek, and Scott Raven of North East; sisters, Saralee Janes of Cincinnati, Kathy Malesiewski (Thomas) of North East, and Jacqueline Piazza (Terry Bonn) of North East; life long companion, John Kloss; grandchildren, Robert Barger, Dalton Lee, Adam Walker, Blake Walker, Michael Lee, Skylar Raven, and Harlee Raven; as well as 3 great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lakeland Hospice for the compassionate and attentive care in Patricia’s final days. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church, 50 South Pearl Street, North East. The St. Gregory Wonder Workers will pray the rosary at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery.
