Patricia A (Shick) Knost

Patricia A. (Shick) Knost, 85, of North East passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her residence.

She was born on August 21, 1940 in Erie, PA to the late Aubrey E. and Pearl D. (Dailey) Shick.

Patricia graduated from North East High School in 1958 and was the office manager at West Ten Podiatry Center in Erie and also worked for Dr. Carl Karsh in North East.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed playing solitaire, stain glass art, ceramics, gardening, and was in an RV Club.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard L. Knost; brother-in-law, Mike Skrekla; grandson-in-law, Captain Patrick Doyle; and dog, Abby.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Hall and Danielle Nietubyc (Mark); sisters, PJ Wodecki (Jim) and Pamela Skrekla; grandchildren, Afton Hull (Jason), Fallon Hall, Nicholas Nietubyc (Taylor), and Brenna Nietubyc; great-grandson, Rowan Hull; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and beloved cat, Angus.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Wednesday, February 18th from 12:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery.
