Pat Louise Woodburn Pierce, age 65, of North East, peacefully passed away on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1956 in Jamestown, New York the daughter of the late Carl Edmund and Florence (Dillenbeck) Woodburn. Pat graduated Youngsville High School and attended Jamestown Business College. She was formerly employed as an administration secretary by Prendergast Library for 22 years. Pat was a member of the North East First Baptist Church; volunteered at the DOOR Student Service Teen Center; and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; sisters, Barbara Elaine Sturges and Rosemarie Woodburn; and a stepson, Chris E. Pierce. Pat was known for her sweet spirit and the ability to see good in others. She always put others first and considered their needs more important than her own. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Ed Pierce whom she married April 8, 2005; step-children, Andrea M. Shepard, Lauren G. Pierce, and Michael W. Pierce (Amy); sister, Ruth Ann DeVore (Harry); brothers, Earl Edmund Woodburn (Evelyn) and Frederick Charles Woodburn (Judy); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the First Baptist Church on Friday from 3:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Private burial will be held at North East Cemetery.
