Noble C Gray

Noble C. Gray Jr., 87, of North East, passed away at LECOM Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on January 27, 1934 in Wilmore, Ky., the son of the late Rev. Noble C. and Verde Mae (Woods) Gray. After graduating high school, Noble was employed by Electric Materials where he worked as a machine operator. He was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed bird watching and spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Noble was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Gilliland. He was survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marlene (Carlson) Gray; children, Melodi Utegg (Bruce), Sherri Davis (Earl), Wesley Gray (Danielle); a sister, Faith Crosby (Charles); grandchildren, Jennifer, Christie, Zachary, Aaron, Theresa, Jason, Jacob, James, Emory, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family are invited to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at Quincy Cemetery.
