Nancy L (Eckert) Lohse

Nancy L. (Eckert) Lohse, 73, of North East, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2023 at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was born on January 17, 1950 in St. Marys, PA to the late James and Mary Rose (Sennett) Eckert. Nancy graduated from Elk County Christian High School in 1968, Orra Jean Beauty Academy in 1972, and retired from Roberts Trucking in the accounts payable department. She was also co-owner of the H&L Tool Company for several years. Nancy enjoyed water skiing, boating, camping, traveling, and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Nancy is survived by her husband of 47 years Robert Lohse whom she married April 24, 1976; brother-in-law, Ken Lohse (Judy), children, Suzanne Lent (Rick) and Elaine Gavio (Joe) and their son Owen; siblings, Barb Ehrensberger (Tom), Joan Maholtz (Rick), Debbie Grotkowski, and Joyce Kuykendall (Greg); and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home 65 South Lake Street North East on Saturday August 12th from 11:00 a.m. until time of a Prayerful Celebration of Life service with a circle of sharing at 1:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
