Mark J Urban Jr

Mark J. Urban, Jr., age 52, of Erie, PA, passed away on Thursday February 13, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born on July 4, 1972 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Mark J. Urban, Sr. and Sheryl (Goodenow) Urban of North East.

Mark graduated from Seneca High School in 1990 and was employed by the City of Erie as a senior radio technician for several years.

He was a member of the Gem City Outdoorsmen Club and enjoyed hunting, football, and watching movies.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents; wife of 25 years Janel (Sansone) Urban whom he married July 24, 1999; only child, Luca Urban; brother, Gerald Urban (Danielle); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Tuesday February 18th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a prayer service on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Thaumaturgus Church, 48 South Pearl Street, North East. The St. Gregory Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary on Tuesday at 2:40 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery.
