Loren passed away February 4th, 2023. He was born May 17th,1943, the son of Byron O. and Elizabeth Bowman.
He graduated from Harbor Creek high school in 1960, and promptly joined the United States Marine Corps. Loren served during the Vietnam Era, from 1960-1964. He was fiercely proud to be a Marine and made many lifelong friends while serving.
After his discharge he found his niche as an outstanding bricklayer, belonging to the Bricklayer Union #9. He eventually became a foreman for Rick Moran Co., and in the process became great friends with Rick and Debbie Moran.
Loren is survived by his son, Tadd and twin daughters Coleen Cancilla (Glenn) and Kirsten Whitman, four granddaughters Sydney, Tara, SethAnn and Ellie. Also by three great-grandchildren Clara, Owen and Oliver.
His children would like to thank the Community Nursing Services of North East for their compassion and guidance and most of the staff at Ball Pavilion.
Memorials may be made the the animal rescue of your choosing. Please give your dog a kiss and tell them it was from Loren. We know he was greeted at The Rainbow Bridge with tons of licks and wagging tails.
