Loraine L (Neff) Kirsch

Loraine L. (Neff) Kirsch, 71, of North East passed away on Friday April 24, 2026 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on September 11, 1954 in Erie, PA to the late Louis F. and Florence (Schultz) Neff.

Loraine graduated from North East High School.

She was a self-employed dairy farmer for over 30 years and waitressed several years prior to dairy farming.

Loraine loved riding horses and the time she spent with the North East Saddle Club. She enjoyed her emotional support dog Dexter also.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Marvin Neff; and a close companion, Allan Card whom she farmed with.

Loraine is survived by her companion, Michael Wick of North East; daughters, Lisa Goodrich (Robert) of Blockton, Iowa and Rachel Herrmann (Donald) of Greene Township, Erie; brothers, Wilbur Neff of Florida and Victor Neff of North East; grandchildren, Lauren Zurick (Michael), Justin Thornton (Caitlyn), Ryan Thornton (Megan), and Parker Goodrich; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday May 2nd at 12:00 noon until time of a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Reverend William Ringer. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery.
