Lloyd H. Lines

Lloyd H. Lines, age 95, of North East, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at his residence. He was born on June 15, 1927, in Corry, Pennsylvania the son of the late Gerry and Lucille (Miller) Lines. Lloyd served in the United States Navy. He was formerly employed by Electric Materials in North East retiring in 1985. Lloyd was an avid Cleveland Browns and Penn State Nittany Lions football fan. He enjoyed carpentry and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wilma V. (Estes) Lines; sister, Marie Brant; brothers, Donald and Gerald Lines; grandson, Eric New; nephew, "Gig" Brant; and daughter-in-law, Kathy New. Lloyd is survived by his son, Robert Lines (Diane) of Florida, step-daughter, Linda New of North East, and step-son, James New (Carolyne) of Florida; grandchildren, Richard Lines (Angela), Matt Lines (Erin), Jason New (Jennifer), and Monica New (Joel); great-grandchildren, Jake and Stella Lines; Jake, Elin, Reese, Bailes, and Clare New; and Nylee Mowers. A special thank you to Monica, for always putting him first and to Angela, for all her love and support. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at North East Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Officiating the service is Rev. Brian Eiss. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
