Leslie Ernest "Ernie" Myers

Leslie Ernest "Ernie" Myers, age 72, of North East, passed away on Friday December 2, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on December 27, 1949 in Baltimore City, MD to the late Raymond Clayton and Selina Viola (Smith) Myers. Ernie graduated High School and served in the United States Navy. He was formerly employed by Walmart in Harborcreek and was the assistant manager for several Kwik Fill locations throughout Erie County. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, good friends Jim and Linda, and enjoyed watching sunsets on the lake. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gail McMahon Myers; a brother, Bill Miller; and sisters, Gertrude L. "Dixie" Slaght and Alberta Miller. He is survived by his children, Chris McMahon (Sherri) of West Seneca, NY, Jill Myers of North East, and David Myers (Maribeth) of North East; brothers, James Myers (Diane) of Silvercreek, NY and Raymond Myers of North Collins, NY; grandchildren, Sydney Owens, Bailey Myers, Braydon Prichard, and Gail Myers; and beloved granddog, Bill. Memorials may be made to the AHN Cancer Institute at St. Vincent, 2315 Myrtle St. Suite 290, Erie, PA 16502. Private interment will be held at Forest Avenue Cemetery in Angola, NY.
