Lee (Frederick) Lampkin

Lee Frederick Lampkin, age 88, of North East, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Springhill Senior Living. She was born on April 20, 1934 in Mobile, Alabama the daughter of the late Claude Frederick and Marie (Korfhage) Frederick Thorton. 

Lee graduated St. Anne's-Belfield School and Oberlin College. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in North East. Lee enjoyed reading, learning languages, music, playing bridge, and nature. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John (Jack) O. Lampkin, Jr. 

Lee is survived by her daughter, Laura Lewis (Gary) of Richmond, Virginia; son, Jon Wade Lampkin (Lynne) of Pittsburgh; and grandchildren, Derek Keith Lampkin and Allison Lee Lampkin. 

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Monday from noon until time of a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating the service is Rev. Gregg Townsend. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North East Community Foundation, P.O. Box 327, North East, PA 16428, or to the Michael J.
