Judith "Judy" Aulenbacher Obituary

Judith "Judy" Ann Andersen Aulenbacher was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on September 25, 1957 to parents Louis and Florence Andersen.  Judy passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2026.  She will be remembered for the light and joy she brought into the world as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend.  Judy leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for those fortunate enough to have known her. Judy was a devoted follower of Christ, over the years she attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, the Assembly of God, and the State Line United Methodist Church in North East, PA.  Judy was a proud graduate of General McLane, class of 1975.  She dedicated many years of her life to Keystone Rehabilitation, where she worked faithfully until her retirement.

On June 28, 1980 Judy married the love of her life Mark Kennelley Aulenbacher.  Together they built a beautiful life grounded in love, laughter, friendship, and a deep devotion to their family.  Throughout her life, Judy was tender hearted towards animals, was a Kennel Club member, and a registered dog breeder.  Among her favorite breeds were Pomeranians, Pekingese, and Dachshunds.  Judy expressed her creativity through beadwork, quilting, painting, and countless other crafts.  She had a special gift for creating beautiful things with her hands.  Each piece reflected the care and thoughtfulness she poured into everything she did.  Above all, Judy's greatest pride and joy was her family.  She treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren.  Judy was preceded in death by her father Louis, her father-in-law George Aulenbacher, her brother Patrick, her grandson Liam, her brother in laws William, George, Harry, brother-in-law Charlie Marr and sister-in-law Debra Marr.

She is lovingly survived by her mother, Florence Andersen; devoted husband of nearly 46 years, Mark Kennelley Aulenbacher; her children Autumn Hubbard and husband Mark (North East, PA), Mark Anthony Aulenbacher and wife Rosemary (Girard, PA), and Benjamin Aulenbacher and wife Huong Lam (North East, PA), grandchildren, Dakota Hubbard, Mark Samuel Aulenbacher, Nikolas and Olivia Aulenbacher, and one grandson on the way; brothers Louis (Debbie), Anthony (Denine), Matthew, and sister Elaine Stephens (Brian); her mother-in-law Dorothy Kennelley Aulenbacher Cote, brother-in-law David (Rachel), sister-in-law Janet (William Aulenbacher); as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.  Though she will be deeply missed, her kindness, laughter, and countless memories she created will remain a lasting gift to all who knew and loved her.

Services were private per Judy's request.  Celebration of life to be held at a later date.  Condolences may be sent to elkinfh.com.
