Joanne F (Boyd) Brown

Joanne F. (Boyd) Brown, age 86, of North East, passed away on Friday May 26 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on June 14, 1936 in Oil City, PA the daughter of the late William and Nettie (Silvis) Boyd. Joanne graduated East Forest High School. She formerly served as the North East Township Tax Collector and was a radio operator for the North East Police Department and East County 911 Call Center. Joanne loved spending time with her family, hummingbirds, fishing, crafts, sewing, and music. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald L. Brown (April 21, 2021). Joanne is survived by her children, William Dalrymple (Kathy), Ret Dalrymple, Robert Dalrymple (Sue), Laura Houser (Mark), Joel Otis, and her best friend, Cheryl Burgess; grandchildren, William, Jenny, Cody, Jared, David, and Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Ryeleigh, Zane, Hannah, Dylan, Braelynn, Oliver, Mason, Ian, and Ava; great-great-grandchildren, Paris and Jaxson. Joanne's family wishes to thank the L.I.F.E. Center, the wonderful drivers, and all the home care ladies for their special care of Joanne throughout her illness. Family and friends may call at the William D.
