Joan Marie (Wright) Dilimone

Joan Marie (Wright) Dilimone, age 94, North East, passed away on Thursday April 24, 2025 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on March 7, 1931 in Salamanca, New York to the late Malcome and Mildred (Barnes) Wright.

Joan was formerly employed by Better Baked Foods and was an airline food assembler for Buffalo International Airport.

She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was strong in her Faith.

Joan enjoyed sewing, fabric arts, and spending time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Angelo Dilimone Sr.; twin daughters, Roseanne and Rosemarie; brothers, Walter and Frank Wright; and a sister, Betty Lou Wright.

Joan is survived by her sons, Joseph Dilimone, Angelo Dilimone Jr., and David Dilimone; daughters, Angela "Dolly" Puglisi, Maryann Barber (Jim), and Linda Maas (Dan); brother, Robert Wright; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Wednesday April 30th from 3:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at St. Gregory Cemetery. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
