Jeffrey P. Maynard, age 63, of North East, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He was born on February 24, 1957 in Lawrence Park, Pa., the son of the late Clifford and Marjorie (Grau) Maynard. He graduated from North East High School in 1975 and later attended Penn State University, where he majored in forestry. Jeffrey graduated from the GE apprentice program where he was later employed for many years working in both buildings 10 and 26 as a final testman. He was a lifelong grape farmer and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, camping, skiing, snowboarding, white water rafting, and was a dedicated environmentalist. Jeffrey also had a passion for music and live concerts. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail (Foster) Maynard; and sister-in-law, Nancy Maynard. Jeffrey is survived by his beloved wife, Tina (Lazzini) Maynard; brothers David Maynard and Thomas Maynard; children, Jeffrey Maynard (Jenna) of Harborcreek, Andrea Maynard of North East, Derrick Parsons (Cassie) of North East, Steven Parsons (Julie) of Wattsburg, Lauren Swanson (Dave) of Edinboro, Ashlee Kobylinski of Meadville, Ryan Kobylinski (Andrea) of Edinboro; grandchildren, Alexandra, Aidan, Cambree, Kailin, Coraline, Tyler, Anthony, Thomas, Dylan, Jacob, Christian, Noah, Ruby, Joan, Daisy, Anna, Charlie, Rose, Ben, Jonah, Grace, Ruth, Mary, Kayla, Noah, Nicholas, Austin, Andrew, Adam, and Nicole; great-grandson, the son of Aidan Parsons, Aidan Junior Parsons, and the second great- grandchild from granddaughter Alex Parsons who is due in March and several nephews and nieces. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East, on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow in the summer or fall.
