Jeffrey Lynn Byers

Jeffrey Lynn Byers, age 68, passed away on Thursday December 18, 2025 at his residence in Columbus, PA.

He was born on December 14, 1957 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Charles E. and Ella Smeal Byers.

Jeffery graduated from Ripley Central High School, and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He formerly worked at Union 76 Truck Stop in Ripley, and Kwikfill in Corry.

Jeffery loved playing chess, doing crossword puzzles, and collecting coins. He was a member of the Corry Coin Club.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, brother John Byers, sister Serah Jane Falls, Nephew David Byers and a great nephew

He is survived by sisters; Susan Alcorn (Jim) of North East, Sherree Byers of Meadville, Mary Jeen Byers of Tidioute, and Ellen Byers of Morrisville, PA, sister-in-law Lori Byers of Columbus, brother Jerry Byers, as well as several nieces and nephews.
