Jeffrey Roger Elgeti

Jeffrey Roger Elgeti, age 53, of North East passed away on Friday June 5, 2026 at his residence.

He was born on January 8, 1973 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to the late Roger Wendell and Jeanette Doris (Petrus) Elgeti.

Jeffrey spent his working years as a dedicated truck driver, logging countless miles on the open road. He was a devoted member of the North East Moose Family Center #2568, where he valued the camaraderie and friendships he built over the years. Jeffrey loved the roar of the road and enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. At home, he was happiest when he was cooking delicious meals for his wife and spending time with his loyal dogs, Peanut and Daisy. To know, Jeffrey was to love him. He had a magnetic personality and an incredibly warm heart. Everybody he ever met loved him, and he never missed an opportunity to make someone smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Samantha and Cassandra Elgeti; sister, Carol J. Elgeti, nephew, Charlie Elgeti, and brother-in-law, Frank Davenport.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Suzanne (Gibson) Stritzinger; step-children, Rebecca Stritzinger (Joe) and Benjamin Stritzinger (Carly); brothers, Christopher A. Elgeti (Cindy) and Charles J. Elgeti (Mary Jo); sisters, Jill O'Brien (Thomas) and Kelly J. Elgeti; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Saturday June 13th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
