Jeff Lewis

Jeffrey W. Lewis, 61, of North East, passed away on Monday November 22, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on October 17, 1960, in Montgomery, Alabama, the son of Mark T. Lewis and the late Tanis E. (Briley) Lewis.  Jeff graduated Millikin University and co-owned and operated Lewis-Bawol Welding in Erie for several years.  He was a selfless individual who always put family and friends first.  Jeff enjoyed his dogs, snowmobiling in Quebec and Ontario, and spending time with others.  He is survived by his father; wife of 33 years, Linda (Conti) Lewis whom he married November 26, 1988; sister-in-law, Lisa Conti; brother-in-law, Mark Conti (Jackie); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Private funeral arrangements were handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East.  Private burial was held at St. Gregory Cemetery.  Donations for a memorial bridge in Jeff's memory can be made to the Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club, 7239 Hannum Road, Mayville, NY 14757 or the Anna Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie PA 16511.  Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
