Jane (Barnett) Bartlett

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. M. Jane (Barnett) Bartlett passed from this world into the arms of her savior on September 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Jane was born April 27, 1940 to her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Barnett. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 43 years Norman F. Bartlett; brothers Harry, Dean, Dave, John; sisters Mary, Lucinda, Twila Mae, and Dorothy, and great-grandson Bryson.

Jane is survived by her children: Debra (Barry) Nuhfer, Kimberly (Glenn) Renner, Norman (Brenda) Bartlett, Carol (Brent) Crandall and Randall (Ellen) Bartlett. Grandchildren: Diane, Amanda, Bobby, Samuel, Darryl, Brian, Samantha, Lee, Dale, Lyle, Ben, Nick, Olivia, Shannon, Jacob, Christina, Faith, and Moriah and 11 great-grandchildren. Sisters: Ruth Mathers, Betty Moore, Sally (Paul) Bartlett, and Shirley Trayer and brother-in-law Michael (Bev) Nelson, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jane enjoyed quilting, camping, gardening, Bible study and baking. But more than anything else, she loved her family, sharing and caring for them her entire life. She looked forward to family game nights with her children and grandchildren. She had a gift of making everyone she knew feel like family.

Jane was a member of the Greenfield Baptist Church where she was a Sunday school and Bible School Teacher, Deaconess and member of the Ladies Aide. She served her Savior and shared her strong faith with all who met her and touched the lives of those around her.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Ball Pavilion for their outstanding care for Jane. She considered them her second family. Also, thank you to Pastor Dan Cass and the North East Community Nurses Hospice Care.

Family and Friends may call at William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East from 3-7 on Thursday and are invited to attend her celebration of life at the Greenfield Baptist Church, 9028 Williams Road, North East on Friday at 10 AM, with Pastor Dan Cass officiating. Jane will be laid to rest at the Hornby Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Greenfield Baptist Church and North East Community Nurses Hospice. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
