James F Foltz

James F. Foltz, 84, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday December 17, 2025 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on January 13, 1941 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Ruth Smith Foltz.

James graduated Chambersburg High School and attended Shippensburg College.

He was formerly employed by the USDA Agriculture, Keystone Foods, Furman Foods in Selinsgrove and PENNDOT. James also owned Foltz's Fruit Market on Route 8 for several years.

He was a former devoted member of Kuhl Hose Fire Department and The Lions Club of St. Boniface. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, going to hockey and baseball games, watching sports on tv especially the Buffalo Bills. Jim loved spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his parents and his infant sister.

He is survived by his loving wife Loreta A. Ardillo Foltz whom he married 62 years ago on April 20th, 1963; daughters, Jennifer Foltz of Erie and Paula Kochera (Daniel) of Lake City; brother, John Foltz of Chambersburg; and many nieces and nephews.
