James C Eaton

James C. Eaton, age 76, of North East, passed away on Friday July 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1946 in Erie, PA the son of the late Robert C. Eaton and Margaret Jane (Hulett) Eaton Lumpkin. Jim graduated from North East High School, served in the United States Air Force, and later obtained his Pastors Degree. He had a strong faith in the Lord and pastored several churches in Buffalo and Jamestown, NY. Jim was formerly employed by General Electric and the Erie County Unemployment Office. He loved spending time with his family, going to thrift stores, yard sales, and flea markets. Jim also enjoyed traveling, gardening, and working on projects. He had a Gloriously Excellent Life and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother, Twila M. Reed Eaton; sister, Kathy Y. Wagner; and brother, David P. Eaton. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tina (Davis) Eaton whom he married on August 19, 1998; children, Stephanie Stewart, Paula Stewart, Jeannette Holcomb, Chris Eaton (Carla), and Dan Eaton; step-children, Dustin Camp, Charleen White (Heath), Ashley Leuschen (Arthur), Allison Carroll (Timothy), Noah Camp, and Tessa Camp; brothers, Timothy Scott (Terri) and Douglas Eaton; sister-in-law, Jeanne Eaton; brother-in-law, Larry Wagner; and 33 grandchildren. Family and friends may call at the William D.
