Jacob Christopher Myers

Jacob Christopher Myers, age 21, of North East, passed away on Saturday June 8, 2024 due to an automobile accident.

He was born on March 19, 2003 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Shawn and Lisa (Yarman) Myers.

Jacob graduated North East High School in 2021 and earned a certificate in Heavy Equipment Operating.

He was employed by C. Carlin Plumbing where he was a heavy equipment operator and an apprentice plumber. 

Jake enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, kayaking, and ATV riding. He also loved his trucks. Jake had a huge heart and lived life to the fullest. He lived more in his 21 years than most do in a lifetime. Jake loved spending time with family and friends and was always just a phone call away if they needed him.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Abigail Myers; paternal grandmother, Maureen Myers; paternal grandfather, William Myers (Patricia); maternal grandparents, Ralph and Bobette Yarman; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Family and friends may visit with the family at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Wednesday June 12th from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating the service is Pastor Jean Kuebler. Interment will be held at Grahamville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Anna Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
