Jack W Tarr Sr

Jack W. Tarr, Sr., age 87, of North East, passed away on Thursday October 26th, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born on February 18, 1936 in Oil City, PA to the late Irvin Esley and Mae (Bradybaugh) Tarr. 

Jack graduated Oil City High School and was formerly employed at Meadow Brook Dairy Co. as a truck operator for several years. 

He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed collecting sports cards.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Mae (Renninger) Tarr and brothers, Norman, Arnold, Irvin, and John Tarr.

He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Tarr; son, Jack Tarr, Jr.; grandchildren, Victoria Holden, Marissa Workman, and Elainna Workman; and great-grandchildren, Amaea Workman and Silvia Sporcic.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
