Hugh L Bowen

Hugh L. Bowen, age 82, of North East, passed away on Saturday September 14, 2024 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on August 1, 1942 in Union City, Pennsylvania to the late Claude LeRoy and Sadie (Hayes) Bowen.

Hugh was a self-employed contractor and a lifetime member of the North East Athletic Club.

He enjoyed working on cars and masonry.

Hugh was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Claude Bowen.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Sandra (Ingrao) Bowen whom he married December 16, 1961; sons, Claude Bowen and Douglas Bowen; grandchildren, Justine Hosier (David), Joseph Bowen, Alexis Bowen, and Alyssa Bowen; great-grandchildren; brothers, Mickey and Roy Bowen; sister, Etta Eastman; step-siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
