Helen E (Styles) Behringer

Helen E. (Styles) Behringer, age 85, of North East, passed away on Tuesday January 9, 2024 at Ball Pavilion.

She was born on December 18, 1938 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Helen (Urbanowicz) Styles.

Helen graduated St. Benedict's Academy High School in 1957 and was formerly employed and well known as a clerk at G.C. Murphy in North East for several years.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, watering her plants even though it was raining, and taking care of her family.

Helen is survived by her husband of 63 years, David Behringer whom she married July 1, 1961; children, Beth Balinski (Mike), Michelle Reynolds (Kevin), David Behringer (Maureen), and Brenda Bemiss (Doug); sisters, Eilene Clemente and Carol Wozniak; grandchildren, Michael (Olivia), Amanda (Josh), Erin (Rick), Sara, Tatiana, Jack, and Dylan; and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Maya.

Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at Our Lady of Mercy Church from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
