Frederick J Gorchinsky

Frederick J. Gorchinsky, 82, of Erie, passed away on Thursday December 18, 2025 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

He was born on October 19, 1943 in Erie, Pennsylvania to the late Frederick and Sophie (Garaloff) Gorchinsky.

Fred graduated East High School and was employed at Erie Coke as foundry worker for many years.

He was well known for his fishing and was an avid sports fan.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Natalie Gordeev; and brothers, George and Robert Gorchinsky.

He is survived by his son Rick Gorchinsky; former spouse, Donna Villa; and grandchildren, Isabelle L. Wilson and Dominic Gorchinsky.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday December 27th at 11:00 a.m. at the Community Christian Church, 1911 Norcross Road, Erie. Officiating the service is Rev. Daniel Laird. Please send condolence to elkinfh.com.
