Fidelis (Cesnick) Miller Jarmolowicz, age 95, of North East passed away on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at her residence.
She was born in Russellton, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Mary (Kronin) Cesnick when President Herbert Hoover was in office.
Fidelis graduated from Academy High School and worked as a machinist at Tanners for 28 years until retirement. She also served as the union steward vice president.
Fidelis will be remembered for her warmth, hospitality, and vibrant passions. She poured her loved into hosting festive Christmas Eve gatherings, baking, making candy, and always enjoyed trying her luck at the casino. She enjoyed traveling and was especially proud of the unique memories she made in England during the funeral of Princess Diana. Fidelis will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Miller, Sr.; second husband, Leon Jarmolowicz; son, Jeffrey Miller; brothers, Carl and Joe Cesnick; sister, Norma Ryen; and special friend, George Harris.
Fidelis is survived by her sons, Walter Miller, Jr. and Frank Miller; daughters, Linda Pinzok (Mike), Nancy Bernhardt, and Julie Mindek (Marlin); sister, Loretta Hahn; special sister-in-law, Thelma Cesnick; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East on Friday June 5th at 11:00 a.m. until time of a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
